The last snow- part 10

People often say time heals everything, and with time you often get over people. But for things to happen you need a lot of time and a person who helps you to get healed. Previously:  The last snow - part 9 Rohan reached college and grabbed his seat. The lecture was about to start when he noticed that Roshni and Sneha were still missing, he remembered Roshni's plans to miss college today. But what about Sneha? Thinking of which Roshni's face while having coffee came as a flashback and he started smiling. The entry of professor in the class brushed off his thoughts. But now he was wondering why he keeps on thinking of Roshni everytime. "Sorry. May, I come in Sir?" Sneha was breathing heavily waiting at the classroom entrance. "Yes Please!" Professor replied back. Roshni was looking a seat for herself, she saw Rohan sitting alone and went ahead to sit with him. Rohan smiled at her. "Where is Roshni?" in a lower tone Rohan asked Sneha. ...

Anger

Five alphabet word which doesn't lasts for five seconds but hampers our brain more than five minutes. I hate being angry specially on someone whom I love the most. I start hating myself more when I am angry on some one who loves me the most. Sometimes in the heat of the moment we forget to think that what comes from our mouths stays a bit longer in our brains than our ears. But you can't stop your anger. It's an another obvious human emotion like smiling. I believe neither we can avoid being angry. At some point of time the most patient person looses it. What can be done to this? The very first thing is an apology! Even if you are not at fault, sometimes bending in front of your loved ones and taking the blame not just solves your problem but also shows the effort that the person is more important to you than the emotion. If you are not at fault leave the other person alone. Or make yourself aloof. Because wounds heal with time. When anger goes out of your limits bec...

The last snow - part 9

I wished we lived a movie life where everything used to be perfectly right at the end. But unfortunately, reel and real have a lot more in difference than just an "e" between them. Previously:  The last snow-part 8 Hardest decision of your life is not when you are about to die. It's when someone close to you is about to die. Today when Diya was struggling between life and death, it was only death for Rohan after hearing Doctor's words. Her parents were not ready for this, in fact, no parent ever want this. Doctor: "I can understand your pain and making a decision like this is terrible. But there is nothing much I can do." Rohan was quite and self-blaming himself in his mind for everything happening around. Diya's mom was profusely crying whereas Diya's Dad didn't know whether he should decide or leave everything in God's hand. Rohan's Dad was the one to speak up first after absorbing the shocking news, "Doctor, if surgery is...

F.R.I.E.N.D.S – A limitless love

A seven letter word but millions of feelings and emotions. Dictionary says a friend is a person with whom one has a bond of mutual affection. I say it’s an infection from which you can’t get rid of. An infection which has neither a vaccination nor medicine. It’s not how long you know someone, it’s about how well you know them. Some friendships can’t be counted by the number of years you have been together. It’s counted on the number of secrets you share. The number of times the person saw the worst of you. Times you broke down and you were offered a shoulder. Times when you sobbed so hard that they had to put you to sleep like a mother. Times when you were in crisis and they backed you like a father. Times when you needed someone to understand your unsaid words and they were there to hear your silence like a sister. Times when you when you were scared of life and they were the shield like a brother. Times when you need extra pampering during your mood swings they offered you the sw...

10 things you should never miss in your life

Well many of us miss a lot of things in our day to day life. Like - Did you miss your train? Did you miss the beginning of the movie? Did you miss your bed tea? I can go on and on asking this stuff but there are things which you should never miss in your life. (All of us have different priorities, I cannot rank them, so here I go!) * Hugging your Mother    Most comforting thing in this world is hugging someone tightly either in happiness or in sorrow. It's said a 20-second hug reduces the harmful physical effects of stress, including its impact on your blood pressure and heart rate. And mother is the most comforting person on earth. (Dad no offense, please. I love you too.) So when was the last time you gave someone "Jaddu ki jhappi?" If not, it's time to run to your Mom! * Beaches    When I speak about beaches, it obviously means a clean and silent one! Hard to find but not difficult to get. I love sitting idle on sand staring at those wa...

The last snow - part 8

Previously:  The last snow - part 7 A nurse came out hurriedly outside the ICU and went to the Doctor's room. “Sir, patient Diya, her heartbeats is deteriorating. Please come and check.” A doctor rushes into ICU. After all his analysis and sedating Diya, he gives some instructions to the nurse. All this while Diya's parents, Rohan and his Dad were losing their patience watching through the glass pane. Wondering what was going on. Equally concerned about Diya's health. As soon as Doctor came out of the ICU. Diya's dad concerned and terrified,  “Doctor, is Diya alright?” “What's wrong with her?” “Why did you rush in?” “What...” Before he can complete, Doctor interrupted him, “Sir, please calm down. Don't panic. Diya is out of t he coma. Her heartbeats fluctuated due to it. It's a positive sign that she is out of the coma.” A smile broke out on everybody's face. The doctor continued,  “We have to do some tests on her once she is conscious an...

The last snow - part 7

Previously:  The last snow - part 6 “Sometimes fate takes away the things which you need the most.” Beep ... Beep ... Beep. The heart rate monitor made the continuous sound. Rohan's Dad was waiting for Rohan to become conscious. He was sitting on the armchair near to where Rohan lied. Seeing his only son in such condition was indeed not what he ever dreamt of. Rohan got a fracture in the left hand and major cuts and bruises on his legs. He got 10 stitches on the left side of his forehead just above his left eye because of glass pieces. It caused heavy loss of blood and due to which he fell unconscious immediately. Thankfully, it saved his eye. Rohan: Da ... Da..D ? (Somehow Rohan's lips escaped those words.) Dad: Son! No. Don't stretch your eyes. You got stitches. (He immediately came near the hospital bed.) Rohan: Dad! (A tear escapes his eyes and he continues.) Dad... Whe . . re. . is Di..ya? Dad: She is okay son. Please calm down. I need...

The last snow – part 6

The tale of love Previously:  The last snow - part 5 After confessing about being in love to his Dad, Rohan was looking forward to a perfect life ahead. On the other hand Diya was on cloud nine where all her   puzzles   pieces were falling at the right place. She was eagerly waiting for the dinner and meet Rohan's Dad. “Hello, so are you excited?” Rohan asked Diya on the phone. “ Ya..I am   excited, nervous and   umm ..” Diya nervously replied Rohan. “Chill.. Relax..” Rohan broke out in laughter. “Idiot.. Don't worry. Even my chance will come to tease you when you meet my parents.” Diya mockingly. “ Haha . . whatever. I am bold enough hah! I won't freak out like you.” Rohan proudly announced. “Let the time come. We will see! By the way leave this all. Tell me what should I wear. Indian or western?” Diya asked. “Hah? Doesn't matter. Wear whatever makes you comfortable.” Rohan replied. “But I am meeting your Dad. You kn...

The last snow - part 5

Previously:  The last snow - part 4 When Rohan was himself. When he fell in love! “Listen, I want to tell you something.” Rohan was running behind Diya in the college campus near garden area who was walking to fast to avoid a conversation with him. “No. Just leave me alone. I don't want to talk to you.” Diya turned around just to reply to him and started walking profusely managing her books and bag. She was heading to the library while Rohan was following her getting enough attention of few other students. Rohan managed somehow to reach her and he held her right arm to stop her. “Phew! Finally. Got you! Don't make me burn so many calories baby.” Rohan with a sheepy smile. “You always make an excuse to jog with me. Not my fault if you don't want to increase your stamina. And leave my hand!” Diya with the same anger. “I love you!” Rohan said this and left holding on her. She sighed off. “Can we talk, please?” Rohan being serious this time. “Fine you have time t...
