The last snow- part 10

People often say time heals everything, and with time you often get over people. But for things to happen you need a lot of time and a person who helps you to get healed.

Rohan reached college and grabbed his seat. The lecture was about to start when he noticed that Roshni and Sneha were still missing, he remembered Roshni's plans to miss college today. But what about Sneha? Thinking of which Roshni's face while having coffee came as a flashback and he started smiling. The entry of professor in the class brushed off his thoughts. But now he was wondering why he keeps on thinking of Roshni everytime.

"Sorry. May, I come in Sir?" Sneha was breathing heavily waiting at the classroom entrance.

"Yes Please!" Professor replied back.

Roshni was looking a seat for herself, she saw Rohan sitting alone and went ahead to sit with him. Rohan smiled at her. "Where is Roshni?" in a lower tone Rohan asked Sneha. "The thing is she met with an accident." Sneha blurted out. "What!?" little louder this time. "Chill. She just got a leg fractured! I mean not that it's a small thing but let us not get out of the class as a punishment." "Oh okay!" Rohan replied back. He had several questions popping in his mind. But he waited for the lecture to get finished.

As soon as the lecture finished, he turned towards Sneha and was about to ask her that how did it happen, she herself said, "Ya I know what you gonna ask. After you guys had your coffee..." Rohan's expressions changed. Sneha gave him a naughty smile pausing at her statement and continued "Ya I know along with coffee something else is brewing up between you guys!" Rohan, "Hey there's nothing like that. You are.. " Sneha laughingly, "Cool bro, I was just pulling your legs. It's okay." "So what I was saying was she was heading towards her home after you guys met, a biker was passing by and it hit Roshni. She got some minor injuries and a fracture in her left feet. Doctors say she needs bed rest for a month." Rohan, "Oh God. Glad she is okay. Where is she now?" Sneha, "I met her at the hsopital. Aunty will take her home as the doctor said she will be discharged in an hour or two." "Can I meet her?" Rohan asked. "Yes sure. I was thinking lets' go after one more lecture I am too bored. And she will too very soon. Let's go to her home. And spend some time with her. What's say?" "Yep," Rohan said without giving any second thought.

He was about to bunk college after a long time. The last time he bunked college was when Diya asked him to for watching her favourite actor's movie. He knew something was changing in him, he knew some barriers have broken now, he wasn't sure how likely he was ready for the change. But he knew he definitely needed friends now. He knew it's time to heal. And he knew Diya wanted the same.
