F.R.I.E.N.D.S – A limitless love

A seven letter word but millions of feelings and emotions. Dictionary says a friend is a person with whom one has a bond of mutual affection. I say it’s an infection from which you can’t get rid of. An infection which has neither a vaccination nor medicine.

It’s not how long you know someone, it’s about how well you know them. Some friendships can’t be counted by the number of years you have been together. It’s counted on the number of secrets you share. The number of times the person saw the worst of you. Times you broke down and you were offered a shoulder. Times when you sobbed so hard that they had to put you to sleep like a mother. Times when you were in crisis and they backed you like a father. Times when you needed someone to understand your unsaid words and they were there to hear your silence like a sister. Times when you when you were scared of life and they were the shield like a brother. Times when you need extra pampering during your mood swings they offered you the sweetness like grandparents. Times when you did the horrendous mistakes and they taught you lessons of life like a teacher. Yes, those endless time.

A bond which has all the flavours of life, where everything is properly measured and added. The only relationship in the world where you make the choice and sometimes end up messing your life. Yes. Mess! Because they are meant to irritate you, bug you and make your life hell. The only hell which gives heaven! Today may be I don’t tie a band in your hand, may be I am not there to hug you, may be today we are not taking the perfect selfie, may be we are not having that cup of coffee, may be today am not telling you how bad you look in that stupid piece of cloth, may be I am not doing that assignment of yours, may be today I am not reserving that seat of train for you, may be today am not buying the tub of popcorn for your favorite movie, may be I am not listening to your bathroom singing today, may be today I am not lying to your parents for hiding your ugly truth, may be today I am just missing you.

Yes, this for every friend of mine who is sitting in a different corner of the world and who is reading this post with a lot of hopes. Thanks internet for being the bridge between me and my friend. They say words are very loud to express, today I wrote a complete blog for you. Phew! Just want to say you are special. I need you and want you. Tomorrow when you fall always remember I will complete my laugh first. :P :D
