10 things you should never miss in your life
Well many of us miss a lot of things in our day to day life. Like -
Did you miss your train? Did you miss the beginning of the movie? Did you miss your bed tea?
I can go on and on asking this stuff but there are things which you should never miss in your life.
(All of us have different priorities, I cannot rank them, so here I go!)
* Hugging your Mother
Most comforting thing in this world is hugging someone tightly either in happiness or in sorrow. It's said a 20-second hug reduces the harmful physical effects of stress, including its impact on your blood pressure and heart rate. And mother is the most comforting person on earth. (Dad no offense, please. I love you too.)
So when was the last time you gave someone "Jaddu ki jhappi?"
If not, it's time to run to your Mom!
* Beaches
When I speak about beaches, it obviously means a clean and silent one! Hard to find but not difficult to get. I love sitting idle on sand staring at those waves as if every minute they say me your life will always be of ups and downs but it will always depend on me whether I want to rise or fall.
If you have not lately visited a beach. It's time to go and play a little Kabaddi Kabaddi!
* Library
Yeah yeah. This may not be an interesting thing for many. But if it's about silence, it's here. Being surrounded by the pile of books, old and new, torn and worn is unique. And the smell of books! I value things and persons who make me loose track of time. Books are one of the things. It takes me on a journey where no one can. And that journey looks pleasant via the library.
Trust me if someone close to you reads books, gift them one! They will treasure it more than gold.
(At least I do!) And next time when you want to time travel alone hit the library!
* Playing with a baby
I feel myself as a good human being when a baby trusts me by not crying when I hold her/him in my arms. It makes me smile a lot when it wraps her/his tiny hands around my finger. I love when it wonders what's the extra thing I am wearing in front of my eyes (I mean specs). It's difficult to trust someone, especially in few meetings or when you have not exchanged words with them.
Next time when a baby smiles at you, just remember someone is trusting you without judging you!
And if she/he cries, sorry for breaking your heart!
* Sunrises/ Sunsets
I just love when the sun rises or sets. When the sun rises it shows me my strength. It gives me energy to fight for a tough day coming ahead. And when the sun sets, it tells me to shead all my weapons and be myself. After all everyone one of has the right to fall weak once a while. But it's important to rise and shine again.
If you never enjoyed it, move out your cubicle. Grab yourself a coffee. And look at the sunset!
(Please do not look for sun when there is none! May be you need to wait till tomorrow morning.)
* Spreading your laughter
Ever heard of laughter club? Attended a show from stand up comedian? Yep. Laugh. That too in a group. It's high time, you really need to spread your laughter with the people around you - Your family and friends.
Time for some real Hahahaha rather than texting the same!
* Hills
Who doesn't love being at the top of the world. Those blue skies, the cold breeze, hairs floating all where. Amazing!
I love hills. Spreading my arms wide. Ya the titanic pose! But all alone. Just nature and me.
So next time you are at a hill, remember "Aaj main upar aasman neeche"!
* Being alone
Yes. Sometimes being alone is better than being in a bad company. When you start spending some time alone, you discover yourself a bit. You will start missing someone special. You may rewind your good memories. And sometimes it's good to cry out the pain too when you are sad. Sometimes though!
And when you are done never forget what I said about hug!
* Falling in love
By falling in love I necessarily don't mean it has to be a love partner. You may fall in love with a hobby. Like - Sing for yourself even if you are a bathroom singer, Sketch! You need not be a Picasso for it. Read a long admired book. Visit a place which you always desired for. You can also fall for friendship, turning it into love it's mutual.
If none. Try falling in love with yourself. Love the person you see in the mirror every day.
* Chocolates
Being high on chocolate all the time, how can I miss it. Yes, "Chocolate never asks questions it understands!" (Credits to one of the t-shirt lying in my wardrobe.) Sad? - Grab a chocolate. Happy? - Share a chocolate. Angry? - Treat yourself with chocolate. The moment it slips into your mouth and starts melting. Exactly the way is shown in television commercials. Try having a melted chocolate and licking off it from the wrapper. Time to be a child again!
Treating your taste buds with chocolate always heals your brain and feelings.
This reminds me. Where's my chocolate?
